Xbox Game Pass (ultimate) for PC $2 for 2 Months

Microsoft is offering an amazing deal on its Xbox Game Pass for PC, including the Ultimate version which even includes xbox live gold! Perfectly timed with the new release of Gears 5, it's even more enticing. Personally, I grabbed the game pass so I could play Gears 5 and eventually my search for info on the pass lead me to AWA's free monthly giveaway of the pass.

There's two distinct offers available. Do be careful browsing the website or even within the Xbox (beta) app which you download via the windows store. Occasionally I noticed the price listed without the deal even after clicking the join option. Be sure to confirm you're receiving the special offer when you go to check out.

You can't go wrong with choosing the Ultimate edition (I did) even if you don't plan on using the console benefits. You're free to cancel / disable automatic billing the moment after you purchase if you would like, thus retaining your benefits until the end of your paid time. Although a bit late for Gears 5, you'll also get early access to certain titles with both game passes. It's still a perfect chance to give Gears 5 a trial run before deciding to purchase or not.

Also note that if you activated a free month already you will not be able to use this deal. Only if you haven't used xbox game pass before (i couldn't even use it because I once used it on xbox (long time age) and now I could not use this deal for the xbox game pass for pc even.... :( xbox told me the system sees them as the same thing... sad)

cant you just create a different acount for the free pass you got and a different one for the 2$ deal?

But then you would also have to create a completely new Microsoft account since it's connected, possibly a new email address... (in my case at least) and a new XBOX account. I mean you could I guess, if you want to go through all that trouble. You'll also won't be saving any progress to your main account, obviously.

This might be logical already but if it's not: If you activate the deal it starts on that same day, pay attention to that before activating it or you'll just end up with two accounts having the game pass in the same period of time which is useless of course. Nobody knows untill what point the 2$ deal will be able to activate, just be sure to start it after your free period has run out.
