For the regions that have the LEGO Area-51 PC in the Marketplace, which version do you prefer?

v1 (i.e. the prototype) seems to have the long, vertical intake port at the front, and uses blue plastic for the RGB light. I see at least one cable inside the case.
v2 seems to have removed the intake port, and uses UV printing to represent the intake RGB light. It clearly has more protruding edges on the outside that are not on the real PC chassis.

Some of the Alienware hieroglyphs appear to be incomplete, but a repeating pattern helps to reconstruct the symbols.

Using advanced Wordle decryption techniques, I may have deciphered the secret to life in the universe!

FEATURED EARN ARP AT 2X SPEED

Is a Hive member supposed to give a faster ARP rate when in the FEATURED slot for Twitch?
I just get the usual Hive rate when one of them is featured. 🤨

When a Nexus member was in the FEATURED slot under Watch Twitch, I did see the ARP rate increase to the same as a Hive member. 👍

I also remember an Alienware Twitch stream with AW_Vigo claiming to give 3X, but I got the usual Hive rate. 😖

Has anyone received the Alienware Plush? 🤨

I've seen plenty of members complain about NOT receiving it, and don't recall any relay about receiving AWA merchandise that included a photo of the plush.

The staff did admit a long time ago about an issue with the supplier for the plush, and I got an ARP refund after half a year.

NOTE: The availability of merchandise varies by region, so the plush may not be visible in the Marketplace.

Even if it's "similar", it would be nice to redeem ARP on different versions of Marketplace merchandise.

The older version of the lanyard was white with black letters, and had only a single quick-release buckle. Most notable is the Alienware head 👽 attached to the ring on the current version.

@Pylawn - Any chance of allowing members with the older version to claim the newer lanyard?

Some notes about the new Twitch component extension on mobile.

1) When admins say the new widget works on mobile, they mean the Twitch app. It won't work on the Twitch mobile website (m.twitch.tv).
2) The alien head icon 👽 may not be shown under the stream when the icon for another extension takes priority on-screen, but that doesn't mean it's unavailable.
3) FIXED
4) 6 min in streamer's chat view resulted in only 3 min in widget, so better to leave AWA widget in view.

Unfortunately, the new Twitch component extension does not solve the old problem with the rate for earning ARP being slower in the evenings (USA). 😩

After 38 minutes (00:49 UTC to 01:27 UTC) in a Hive stream, the extension displayed only 21 minutes of progress! 😵‍💫

Also, could not view the extension in a mobile browser (Chrome) without switching to desktop mode.

Love how the new in-stream Twitch widget (extension) displays my minutes and ARP! 😃

And of course, no more searching the whole page to load the widget.

Hopefully, it also fixes the occasional problem with evening Hive streams requiring more time to earn ARP. 😖

NOTE: Checked some partners (Team Liquid), but they have not yet switched to the new widget.

NOTICE:

With non-Hive streamers, I think it now requires watching a Twitch stream for twice as long to earn ARP.

☹️

I wasn't worried when an admin explained it "will take a little bit longer" with non-Hive streams, but it seems there was a 100% increase for the time required to earn 15 ARP with a Team Liquid member (Demu).

⏲️ 😵

I didn't notice any change with the time required to earn 15 ARP with a Hive steamer (Lovinurstyle). 👍
