Has anyone else seen, under AlienWare News, that if you give sign up and give Intel your email and phone number then you can get it for free?? Has anyone else done this and received it free with no catch? Cause if so I'll always take a free game. Lol. Free Star Wars?

You get specific games from having specific hardware, That's the catch. Not a general use case.

Ah ok. Maybe because I just got a new computer it will let me for free...hhmmm. I could try it out I guess. I mean Idk how they could charge my phone? lol

They don't charge your phone. That is not how it works. You got a new computer, then obviously you bought the hardware with it that qualifies. NVIDIA does the same thing, for example. It has nothing to do with your phone itself..

Your phone number is used for verification/sign-in purposes. That's to sign in/setup your account with Intel so you can get your codes. Very rarely do they ever distribute free games freely. You need a code or hardware to unlock offers..

Yea, I always download NVIDIA when I get a new computer and keep the drivers up to date. I was wondering why it was giving a free game. Sounds good!

Offer ended July 31 no reason to give them your phone number now

Oof, bummer, lol. I usually miss these kinds of deals by only a few days, too.
Denisamir - 08.25.2024 06:23:18
Now we know that your new computer has 14gen intel processor;-)))
SpartanKingAdam - 08.25.2024 07:56:34
@Thalatash yea it sucks lol. @Denisamir...maybe I have a 14 Gen Intel Processor...lol
MARSM4N - 08.25.2024 08:45:58
