I have gone through so many because of the wheel no matter how much I spend on a mouse.

@maramire Scroll wheels often fail because they get jammed up with fuzz and stuff. If you are fairly handy with a screwdriver, you can open you mouse up, clean the gunk out of the wheel pocket, and it should start working again.

I loved my MX Master 3! If you're ever looking for something that's the "best of both worlds", I'd highly recommend the Razer Basilisk v3 Pro. It's been my daily driver for a year now and I love it!

Yep one of the best mice, I started with the MX Master 1 five years ago but it started double clicking after around a year, they didn't have the first one anymore so got upgraded to the MX Master 2 and been using it since

@StarMaker @maramire - The original lubricant gets cleaned out with the gunk, so you may as well have a replacement ready. DIY disassembly videos may recommend something different, but I've used dielectric grease. 🧑🔧

@Fruit Punch Samurai @Maramire You are probably right about the original lubricant, but my MX Ergo Trackball has been working flawlessly, with no added lube, since I cleaned it out a while back. Too much added lube will attract more gunk.
