Same here. I use mine daily and not only for gaming. Seems it happens within 6 months or less and I am not rough with it

I have a logitech G502 Lightspeed for about a year and a half now, still works great. I have used Alienwares also, but always go back to my logitech. Also have a logitech MX anywhere that I use daily on my other laptop for 3+ years

Can't say I've ever had a mouse with a scroll wheel failure. Do you use it as a fidget spinner?

Do you eat while using your PC? I clogged up a mouse wheel when I always ate lunch while working, but got the wheel functioning again with disassembly and cleaning.

I use a Logitech MX Ergo. The scrollwheel stopped working after a year. Opened it up and found fuzz wrapped up in the mechanism. Blocked optical sensors. No idea how it got in there. Pulled it out. Works fine now.
