The fact that they put "from the world of Dead by Daylight" on all their marketing tells me they made something that can't stand on its own feet.

I'm all for being critical of the gaming industry. I truly don't know how when DBD is still very popular, and Frank Stone definitely has the same style. And for we know, the devs had to anticipate it being labeled a rip-off.

I imagine you have to post frequently. Since this is coming on the heels of the trailer, it feels a bit unnecessary.

Interstellar

must say i saw the game untill the end and its just so utterly boring to watch or play there ist just nothing really happening and the story is just a mess without explaining much and a very open ending...
most of the chracters are so unimportant that i was mostly angry when i saved them... since it meant i need to stick longer with it... even though the ending part came also quite fast... from chapter 7 to 14 it just took only 1-2 hours meanwhile 1-7 was about 4 hours long... so overall 5-6 hours of gameplay for this thing and its just not worth it!

You must have watched the wrong stream! I followed it from a French Nexus streamer and we had a great time - although you're absolutely right about the lack of substantial gameplay, it looks like they wanted to use the DbD actions but without making it too hard or stressful? and about the weird pacing with the second half accelerating as the chapters shorten. Although I felt that part was a deliberate design, perhaps to give a sense of urgency and gloom needed for the ending...
Anyway, despite its flaws I thought it was a lot of fun, especially as the streamer lamented her bad choices at the end, vowed to redo the last few chapters but this time better now that we know where things are going.... and ended up messing it up so bad, we had to play the last segment *as Frank Stone* because there was no hero left alive. Honestly a gem of a "secret" ending (not really, but probably a rare one to achieve idk), very well done. xD
