The first season of Stargate: Timekeepers is about to begin

It doesn't look that bad, but I wish it were a higher budget game. FPS or third person shooter, squad based multiplayer. For such a popular franchise, with a ton potential for games, it's a bit disappointing this is all we have after 26 years. This isn't a dig at this game, but a comment about how all the other Stargate games were vaporware or scrapped.

I've also given up hope that we'll see any great Stargate games anytime soon, since we're pretty far past the peak of Stargate's popularity. Maybe in a decade after Amazon finally funds a new Stargate movie/series, and it gains popularity again.

Interesting. I hope this game does a good enough job at representing the IP. As a YouTube commentor said though, "the proper first Stargate game deserves a 'Mass Effect' like treatment!'" This person is on to something because traveling from world-to-world through various Stargates seems to be an experience best suited for a third-person RPG. We'll see!

Let's hope it stays true to classic series and not the woke disaster what Stagate: Origins tv series was. Cringe was unbearable.

As someone who loved Stargate for a long time, I hope this one's good.
I wish we got more Stargate stuff in general.
