Good news for PS Plus Premium subscribers, the chance to play God of War: Ragnarok for free in February

Sony PlayStation News: PS5 gamers can get a taste of God of War: Ragnarok, 2022 in February. Recently, a leaked page on Twitter has given such an indication.

On February 15, Sony is scheduled to announce February's PlayStation Plus Premium and PS Plus Extra games. It is believed that God of War: Ragnarok, 2022 could also be trialled as a PS5 exclusive alongside the monthly gaming lineup. The hint came from a page on Twitter that relays various PlayStation-related leaks to gamers. It has been reported there that PS Plus Premium subscribers can use God of War: Ragnarok, 2022 trial for free this month.

But you can't get full access to the game for free even if you want to. Rather, it will allow PS Plus Premium subscribers to play three hours of the game, which is just a slicer of this title. If you want to mainline the God of War sequel, you'll need about 25 hours. It will take you 40 hours to complete the entirety of a major content site to defeat a competitor in the game. Completionist playthrough on the other hand will take around 50 hours to complete. So, three hours is not long at all. But enough for a taste of God of War.

Unfortunately, if you're a PS Plus Essential or PS Plus Extra subscriber, you'll miss out on this offer. Because it will be limited to PS Plus Premium only. This was also the case with previous trials. In this case too, the same incident has been indicated. But for now the matter remains at the level of speculation. Because, PlayStation authority has not officially said anything about it so far.

God of War: Ragnarok was released on November 9 by Santa Monica Studios and PlayStation. Upon release the PS4 and PS5 game achieved a 94 on Metacritic, one of the highest rated games of this generation so far. Like its predecessor, God of War: Ragnarok will likely be counted among the best PlayStation games of all time in the future.
