Happy birthday!!!! 20 years of ps2!!!

The PlayStation 2 is 20 years old today – if you're counting its official birthday to be its launch date in Japan. The behemoth console first arrived on March 4th 2000 in Japan, with a release in North America following in October of the same year. Europe and Australia had to wait until November – an irritation I remember quite clearly as a 13-year old, though my parents at least let me get at it before Christmas Day.

Never had any console after PS1, but even the little I played on it at my friend's house after school was good. It was really a good console, and there were really good titles coming out for it. The best one I remember is TimeSplitters.
