We were unable to renew the license for Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle with the licensors 

I'm not sure I understand: is this an issue with the copyright holders of the Friday the 13th franchise or is it something else?
"Across all platforms," so that's what I'm gathering.

Curious side effect of the coming delisting: price of the Steam trading cards for this game have skyrocketed, especially the foil cards.

It's not neccessarily an issue with the copyright holders. Game makers will pay a license fee that allows them to use copyrighted material (songs, characters, vehicle brand nanes, etc) for a limited time. If they cannot renew the license, then they have to cease sales and production. Project: Cars ran into a similar situation and either had to delist the games or rename tracks and remodel/rename cars.  GTA has had to remove songs from their games due to the same thing.

Also, if anyone is thinking of picking this game up, Alienware Arena did have a key drop for skins @ https://na.alienwarearena.com/ucf/show/1886112. Not sure if there are still keys left but worth a check.

The game and first 8 episodes were always free, they didn't do any discount or make anything free because the game is being delisted.  They were free years ago.
