Giveaways Are STILL Being Stolen By Bot Accounts.

  • 12

Giveways NO LONGER exist to be given to actual AlienWare Arena members.
Almost all keys are being snatched by bot accounts in no time. This is another time that again, a giveaway like Street Fighter V that occured today, ended in no time. Being a "Master" Level member does absolutely NOTHING to guarantee a key to a member, unlike as the Level perks claim it does. Alienware Arena went through several updates to a lot of things, but this is STILL not fixed in any way. Which comes to a point where one can only think: is it just for the people to see that interesting giveaways happen, only to attract more to people to never have the chance to claim at least one key these days?
I'm a member since 2016, I've participated since then to multiple giveaways in which I successfully claimed keys, but after a point, it became not possible, especially to popular games such as Street Fighter V, and not only. I've said this stuff before. Demos and DLCs nowadays are the only keys that you can find at any time. Can you guess why?
Bots always were a big problem. in general, for Alienware Arena. The updated ARP System only put a small blockade, but it became worse later on.
So if Alienware Arena staff really care about it, make a change. Change the way giveaways work, and make the Level system actually be worth it.

Alienware should register Steam keys like Sega do - directly register to the user Steam account, so bots will not be able to sell those keys.

That would be a great solution, I believe. Thanks for that idea! I wonder if AlienWare Arena could implement that.

Its a good idea till you win something like a skin for a game that you have not bought yet because you were waiting for the game to come on sale.

Example, I won a fallguys skin, cause I was trying to win the actual game, I have not bought the game yet cause I don't have windows 10 (which it says it needs) which I thought I was going to have by now along with a new system cause my current system is just a slight upgrade from a baked potato.

I also won a dead by daylight dlc before I won the actual game.

As long as we can hold onto the unclaimed key for as long as we want without worry it will become invalid then fine, that would be ok. but if we have to claim it right away, then its a bad idea for cases like mine, where I try for something but don't get the game for it for a while.

Not only SEGA but Ubisoft also does that.
