Best gaming headset 2019 (April)

I still prefer my Steel Series Arctis 7.  Has basically everything minus that little control box which I don't find very useful and about 1/3 of the price.

But the best gaming headset can mean different things to different people. Do you want a versatile headset which will make your music and movies sound just as good as your games? Are you an isolationist who needs a pair of cans to block the outside world or a set which will deliver the most natural soundscape possible, regardless of leakage?

And can you cope with being wired for sound or do you absolutely, positively have to go for a wireless gaming headset? Do you even need a dedicated gaming headset at all?

Appreciate you sharing the link.

I personally go with Kingston HyperX wired one because USB and wireless were soo much trouble...

Once I went wireless I could never go back to wired.  The only downside was dealing with keeping it charged.  The freedom of wireless was just too good.
