Call of Duty officially becomes more popular than Battlefield

While the Call of Duty series and Battlefield both wage wars in their own set of games, they fight another war on who is more popular series among fans. Well, it’s been made official that Call of Duty is actually in the lead.

Thanks to the recent reveal trailer of Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s new Battle Royale mode Blackout on Youtube it has ranked in over 12 million views with an excellent ratio of likes and dislikes.

Battlefield, on the other hand, is struggling at the moment. Their battle royale wasn’t part of their beta release. The inclusion of females characters in the game isn’t going over well with players. Battle Royale is a popular trend right now with titles like Fortnite and PUBG. Battlefield V needs a lot of catching up to do if they want to compete with the likes of Fortnite and others.

Experts on the subject are saying that Black Ops 4 will be the dominant game of the season when it releases on October 12th. While Battlefield V has a month to work with while their release is on November 20th, they still need time to work on the hype for the game to win the trust of its players.

You're saying this just from video views? Pfft...

They did add a battle royale mode... So where's the catching up needed? Not to mention, Battlefield (while it has a mode) caters to a different genre.

I see a lot of personal bias in this post. And what's even the problem with having female characters in a game?!

"The inclusion of females characters in the game isn’t going over well with players" if someone cares about this is just because they are dumb af besides I didn't see anyone complaining about this since the trailer. And as FrozenFireVR said is too early to compare the games wait until sales numbers are released...

this article fully explains the state of Affairs of the games. Fully agree Batelfield 5 will have to try hard. "Call of duty" so far in the first lines

Interstellar

Sad that having a Battle Royale mode is making games more or less popular.

Additionally I'm glad that the inclusion of females occurred for Battlefield.
