Fallout 4 is free to try from the next month

The post-apocalyptic quest of search for a child, and all the thousands other tasks that are far more interesting than looking for a child, has been several times free to try. But, it is always good news when we can repeat that Fallout 4 is again available for playing completely free.

This time, the offer applies to PC platform, or Steam, where Fallout 4 will be free from 01 February till 04 February. These are whole three days of playing, enough to find missing son, but lets be realistic - that will not happen. If you like Fallout 4 during this free weekend, the game you will be able to get at discount of 33%, while all additions, as well as a GOTY release, at a discount of 40%.

To all Fallout 3 and NV fans: Don't expect Fallout 4 to be as fallout-ish as the previous parts. It relays more on Ego Shooter events than on role playing aspects. All missions are heavy Ego Shooter focused with allmost never any option how to solve them on multiple ways other than with force. If you have this in mind, you might not be as disappointed as me. And there is no karmasystem anymore. Sadly.

The only Fallout i have ever owned is the very 1st game. But never have tried any of the Fallout games so maybe time to try. :D

I own Fallout 1 & 2 but have played only the very first one ages ago. Liked it a lot although I am a bit of a Wasteland fanboy. I must have missed the previous free weekends for Fallout 4 so will give it a try this time.
